2. ODD BIRTHDAY CUSTOMS.

I attended my cousin’s birthday party who just turned 12 today and as always the kids made their own groups and played enormous games and the adults cornered in another room. There I noticed the weird games these girls played just because this is her last “PRE TEEN YEAR”.
So here I present a few weird or rather odd customs from all round the globe. Read and have a laugh! J

1.   MEXICO:

When someone is having a birthday celebration in Mexico, they usually sing "Las Mañanitas". It's a 15 minute long birthday song which supposedly is used to wake the person up, because it's their birthday and tell them how wonderful they are, etc. You can sing this at any time during the day and have to sing it very loudly, with a very dramatic voice.

2.  IRISH:

Instead of getting a gentle pat on the head accompanied by a “Happy Birthday”, Irish children are held upside down by their parents who have them gently BUMPED on the floor for good luck. Happy bumpy birthday! J J

3.  VENEZUALA:

A widespread custom is to attempt to push the person's face into the cake when they blow out the candles. This frequently destroys the cake.
