Off late the media was full
of tribute to Indian cinema for completing 100 years. But now I guess it’s time
we also start celebrating the same for the “telly world” as well. After all,
serials have given birth to many fine actors who have now done noticeable and
impressive works in Bollywood/films.
But there is one thing that I
really like about T.V. serials. No matter whether the person knows how to act…
or the actor is SLIM or FLABBY… or whether they even fit the roles or not… the “actors”
will still be there and still be LIKED by the audience. It seems like producers
and directors have started settling for any tom-dick-n-harry!!!
With absolutely no offence to
GOOD actors, but when I see a few of them…the only thought that comes is, “if
she can act, so can I”. J
Any chick who is ready to
wear the EXTRA HEAVY ZARI SAREEs… with
layers of PANCAKES and FOUNDATION to get a mannequin like
spotless face and put on weird wigs…will probably be welcomed in the “telly
world” and by the viewers of course.
But then again, I have many
questions with respect to these serials:
1. Why do they
have to show so much hatred and negativity?
-there are
good people and good stories out there… JUST OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE!!!!
2. Why do they have to portray the
mother-in-laws so cruel and/or timid? Why always so extreme??
- come on
now….there are mothers and mother-in-laws who are really sweet and
understanding.
3. Why do
you show men so desperate for EXTRA love…and into extra marital affairs???
-committed
guys are not yet extinct…! :P so you can show them as well!!!! J
I have
seldom seen a serial that shows reality in the REAL WAY!!
Many serials
are produced only to go off air in just 6 months! L Before producing, didn’t the producers understand by the story line…Whether
it was good enough to be produced or not??? Why waste so much money and time?! I
know there are other meaningful channels which show really amazing and true
stuff like DISCOVERY, WILDLIFE, and HISTORY…but not everyone watches or
understands the programs.
In fact our first
national channel “Door Darshan” has also been commercialized to great extends. One
must see the kind of soap operas being shown! Pathetic! Pity! L Hardly any quality.
But even
now, producers seem to have stopped learning lessons from their mistakes…and
keep producing n number of serials.
Till the
producers don’t understand and rectify their mistake by making something
sensible, enjoy the SAAS-BAHU DRAMA, the EXTRA MARITAL AFFAIRS and the COLORFUL
SAREES!!!
After all it
is the viewers who decide which program does well and stays for long! J
Enjoy!
well...........!!!! something interesting atlast.
ReplyDeleteseriously i had begun to think ...HOW CAN U BE SHORT OF POSTS WHEN THE WORLD IS REALLY FULL OF WIERD THINGS AND EVENTS?
first of all y people consider acting as a noble profession...and how can a person be tagged as
"FINE ACTOR"
u explain me this then i'll coment later on .:D:D
i have many ideas lined up for the upcomming posts...so sont worry, i am finally not running short of posts... :P
Deletenow i dont know if "ACTING" is a noble profession or not... but i feel doing any thing/work will 100% ddication makes it nobel...till it is ethically not wrong! :)
well dear frnd.....acting can't be said ethical from any direction (even comedies)...the reasons are many...which u too may be aware of. the thing on which ur post is about is the cause of many divorces, destruction of parent child relationship...these can also be the said attributes of the "IDIOT BOX"
ReplyDelete......but after all we r only making them successful. Married stars getting cosy with the opposite gender causing havoc at their own homes. roles which they are acting are influencing many young minds in real life in that direction.
hmmm.... that's right. it must be really difficult and uneasy for the spouse to see his/her partner getting up and close with some other actor.... i agree on that.
Deletethat is probably the leading reason of divorse among many couples in film industry.
