Men, women and relationships are inevitably my favorite
topics. J I can
go on and on when the discussion comes to this! So the next couple of posts
will be dedicated to MEN, WOMEN AND RELATED THINGS.
“Men are from mars… women are from
Venus”
This is not just a phrase, but a fact. Men and women are
from 2 different planets, so they are ought to be different.
You can’t expect the Martians to behave like Venusians…
and vice versa. And the only possible way of coming to peace with the opposite
sex is to accept and acknowledge each other’s differences in thoughts and
nature.
Am sure you all will have a hearty laugh and agree with me
in the following instances:
1. When
a woman is depressed, she generally eats lots of chocolates and goes for
shopping. But when a man is depressed, he would prefer to drink and smoke or completely
shut off till he finds a solution to his problem.
For
women, shopping acts like a stress
buster. An average female can go shopping for at least 2-3 hrs at a stretch
without feeling tired.
But
for a man, shopping is just not his cup of tea! He can stand maximum of 30
minutes of shopping after which…. The world starts going round and round for
him!!! :P
So girls,
if you want to take revenge, take your guy out for shopping and then see his
condition! I bet there won’t be anything more annoying for men than this one. J Isn’t it guys???
2. ************every girl’s favorite************* J J J
Women treat washroom as yet
another place for socializing and discuss about latest
trends, break-ups, patch-ups, who wore what at the party etc in there and it’s
perfectly normal to ask the friend sitting next to her, “am going to washroom…want
to come along?”
But
men go to washroom for one and only one reason… I DON’T NEED TO MENTION THAT
NOW!
Also,
it would be really weird to see a guy asking his friend to along to the
washroom!!! :D in fact, it will not be taken in a straight manner. You know
what I mean…..
3. Women are good at multitasking. She
can drive, apply lipstick, listen to radio, manage her hair, and talk over
phone all at the same time. This is how god has made usJ.
But
men can do only one thing at a time.
It is not like they do it purposely, but they just can’t help it! L They will talk, walk,
listen or love …but only one at a time. So don’t expect him to be romantic
while he is driving or to listen to you while you are explaining him the
grocery list and he is watching TV. It will all fall on deaf ears.
I
know accepting certain things at first seem impossible but frankly, it is not
that tough either. By just being aware of the fact that men are from mars and
women are from Venus, our expectations from the other person reduce… thereby
reducing the conflicts. J
Girls,
you can’t expect the guys to understand your non-verbal signs just the way
other women understand. They won’t get it and that’s why they are MEN!!!
And
guys, you also don’t expect the female to be ace in driving and getting the
directions right. That seldom happens. And that’s the reason we are WOMEN!!!
SO
ACKNOWLEDGING EACH OTHER’s DIFFERENCES MAKES THE JOURNEY ALL THE MORE “INTERESTING”.
