THE "COMPLEXION" ISSUES...

Everyone wants to look beautiful. But beauty does NOT mean being “FAIR”.

This is the biggest misconception many people have. Hardly anyone is satisfied with the complexion they have!

This has given boost to hundreds of companies making beauty products that claim to lighten the skin tone or even change the complexion altogether with daily use. Cosmetic beauty Products like fair and lovely, oley age miracle etc might seem to give great results at first, but do you know the chemicals they use to stop the aging of facial tissues???

Let me tell you:

1.  COAL TAR is used to control itching and scaling, to soften skin, and as a colorant.

2.  PARABENS are a group of compounds widely used as an antifungal agent, preservative and antimicrobial in creams, lotions, ointments and other cosmetics, including underarm deodorants. They are absorbed through the skin and have been identified in biopsy samples from breast tumors.

3.  LEAD may be a contaminant in over 650 cosmetic products, including sunscreens, foundation, nails colors, lipsticks and whitening toothpaste. Lead is a proven neurotoxin and has been linked to miscarriage, reduced fertility in men and women, and delays in puberty onset in girls.

These are just a few… the list goes on!

Why to torture your skin for something that is temporary and harmful?

If at all you want to do something about it, just make sure that whatever complexion you have, it is uniform. Make sure your skin is not tanned. If it is, then go the natural and ayurvedic way of removing it.

Apply honey, yogurt, egg, besan etc on the skin and the tanned area. This not only repairs the damaged skin but also makes it glow! J J

And who told that “dark” complexioned people are not beautiful? Look at Bipasha Basu, she has a comparatively dark complexion but is so beautiful, sexy and stunning! Among men, look at the US president Mr. Barack Obama. He is so handsome and smart! Oh, I simply love the way he carries himself and his simplicity. J

It is the nature that counts at the end.

Whom would you prefer?

-someone who is fair but rude? Or someone who is of dark complexion but polite?

-someone who is fair but grilled with ego? Or someone who is dark but down to earth?

By all this I am not saying that “FAIRER” people are not beautiful… I am only saying that the “NOT-SO-FAIR” people aren’t ugly either!!!

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ACCEPT YOUR COLOR AND HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF.

If you do well to others, your complexion is the last thing they will remember. It is the deeds that matter, not the color of skin.

So people,

Love yourself ! love your skin ! J

You are special… and so is your complexion! J

So be proud of what you have!

ENJOY! J J
