MUMBAI IS THE PLACE!!
Time may have changed many
things, but there 3 things that haven’t changed: the sea, breeze and the sense of belongingness. Mumbai is a world
in itself! J
It has a place for everything
and opportunities for everyone be it good or bad.
On one side you will see the big
MNCs, NGOs, laughing club, small gardens, kitty parties and societies… whereas
on the other hand you will see the red light area, a rape victim, endless
garbage, corruption and traffic!!!
It is up to the mumbaikars to
decide which side of the fence they want to on.
Oh! There’s another very
important place for a very important group of people I forgot to mention!
“LOVERS”------“BANDSTAND”
These two are inseparable, no
matter how much ever our moral police try to ban them from coming!!! J isn’t it! After all even the lover birds need a
place to express their love….J J
Mumbai is a perfect blend of
good and bad.
Be it a walk along the marine
drive or the light breeze… Mumbai has enough options that provide an escape
from the reality.
It’s just like a FRUIT SALAD.
I recently came across a
headline in the paper saying that, “Mumbai lacks culture”.
Whoever said this must be having
some problem with his senses! Mumbai is actually so rich in culture.
“Respecting and celebrating every religion and culture is Mumbai culture.”
I AM NOT A HINDU, NOT A MUSLIM …NEITHER AM I A PARSI. I am a MUMBAIKAR!
Be it ganesh chaturthi, Christmas,
new year, holi, diwali or eid… Every festival is celebrated with equal
enthusiasm! Mumbai actually celebrates all 365 days! J
With endless stories of “rags to
riches”, no doubt Mumbai is called the “CITY OF DREAMS”… “SAPNO KI NAGRI”.
I am proud to be a mumbaikar and
love it’s every single aspect!
