How to spend your Valentine's Day alone

Embedded in the middle of winter, is the day of love. You guessed it right! ;)

The Valentine’s Day… <3

The whole world is busy confessing and showering its warm feelings to their loved ones. Flowers, candies, gifts, surprises, chocolates, shopping, clothes, accessories, movie, candle light dinners, cards, lingerie and what not!!! This day is undoubtedly incomplete without these elements.

On one side where couples just can’t find enough ways of expressing their love… there are also people who are single (may or may not ready to mingle) and seeing the world brimming with the so-called-love, they might attract feelings of loneliness. They may feel depressed and sad. If you are single by choice, then don’t let the “couple driven” culture define your choice as something wrong. It is an individual’s choice to wait for the Right-One…

And guys how can this one day decide your relationship status? Don’t let those sick feelings take you down! Just because you were “Single” on 14th February doesn’t mean you will stay so for the whole year!

So, what to do then? Sulk? Cry? Sleep whole day?

NO! None of these will help you. There are a lot better things to do. So here I am sharing with you “How-To-Spend-Your-V-Day-Alone” tips.

1. Realize that Valentine’s Day is a commercial holiday! This day is not for showing love-shuv, but help traders sell flowers, chocolates, lingerie, gifts, cards etc at inflated prices! So be thankful that your money was saved.

2. Hang around with other Romantically-Challenged friends of yours. This will make you feel less bad!

3. Pamper yourself. Buy/Do something that you always wanted to do, but is somehow still pending in your TO-DO list.

4. Spend time with your parents & family members. Valentine’s Day is not just about lovers. It is also about our loved ones…

5. Don’t care. It’s just a day and will pass in no time!

So dear readers,

I deeply wish you all to have a fantastic Valentine’s Day. Not just your Boyfriend or Girlfriend, but your parents too deserve a big fraction of your time and love. Life is very unpredictable. So don’t ever leave any opportunity of showing the loved ones that how special they are for you. Cherish every moment. And make every moment all the more memorable.

And to all the singles out there, this is a day you can gift yourself. Just because you don’t have a “better half” today, doesn’t mean your life is any less fabulous! Why wait for someone else to bring a smile on your face? Throw an Anti-Valentine’s-Day party and enjoy!
